ABISS Edusepsis
Title of the study: Evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of a multiple intervention aimed at improving early empirical antibiotic treatment for severe sepsis.
Acronym: ABISS-Edusepsis (AntiBiotic Intervention in Severe Sepsis)
General characteristics: prospective, multicenter study using a before-and-after design to evaluate a multiple intervention to translate knowledge into clinical practice.
Main objective: To evaluate the impact on mortality of a multiple intervention to translate knowledge about empirical antibiotic treatment for severe sepsis into clinical practice.
Secondary objectives:
Funded by a FIS grant from the Instituto Carlos III and carried out with the support of the SEMICYUC.
